According to linear thinking, the North and South Poles are antipodal to each other. When viewed from above, in a vertical plane, they coincide. How could the mind grasp something like that, I wonder? However, when I think of antipode as a concept solely in my mind, the idea of distance between two points in space becomes an illusion.
