Textile installation — Acrylic paint, pigment, ink, and glue on soft cotton batting

Deconstruction leaves a lasting effect; disrupts conventional notions of meaning. The act of cutting my paintings—hoping to erase one version of existence to create another—is transformation, renewal, shedding old layers, allowing new perspectives and ideas to emerge.
