What comes about when all activities stop? when we are not creating by doing, when we are not struggling to find answers, when we do not try to take decisions, or when we are not acting to impress or to be accepted or understood? I painted myself white, swathed my body in bandages, and I sat against a white wall in the dark, trying to disappear inside myself while taking with me all those around. In silence, we are closer. When we don’t hear or see, we compensate by feeling more. We believe that language is the means of communication, but behind the bodies we perceive, there is a different world where, without any words, we just feel each other. Never lonely, never separated, with no past nor concerns about the future, just one. In silence, we are all one.
