How to build clothes from paintings—images made up of colourful paintings? How to approach printed fabrics and find the right way to work with extravagant zebra graphics, floral designs, and eye-popping red hues posed something of a challenge. The conundrum was this: how to make it wearable? How to create something that one would be prepared to go out in? How to turn an eye-catching rhinoceros design into something wearable at a cocktail party; how to turn a multi-coloured parrot into a piece of evening-wear?
